This Woman DOES NOT Support The Women’s March

This WOMAN does not support it. They call it a women’s march but it’s only for women who share the same thoughts and beliefs as they do. That means they are the women who believe X,Y and Z. Oh and hate Trump even though he hasn’t done one thing yet. Way to be open. Way to be accepting. Way to NOT represent all women.

I am all for equal pay with men, but marching and chanting isn’t going to do a damn thing. In fact, it’s going to do just the opposite.  Trump won, get over it and also give him a chance. The Country needs UNITY not more DIVISION and all this does it keep us from getting together.

Let me share with you these thoughts they aren’t mine, BUT they are exactly how I feel. And if after you read them,  just know that I will NOT be getting into any conversation with you on them. I just want you to THINK about it from a different point of view.

I am not a “disgrace to women” because I don’t support the women’s march. I do not feel I am a “second class citizen” because I am a woman. I do not feel my voice is “not heard” because I am a woman. I do not feel I am not provided opportunities in this life or in America because I am a woman. I do not feel that I “don’t have control of my body or choices” because I am a woman. I do not feel like I am ” not respected or undermined” because I am a woman.

I AM a woman.

I can make my own choices.

I can speak and be heard.

I can VOTE.

I can work if I want.

I control my body.

I can defend myself.

I can defend my family.

There is nothing stopping me to do anything in this world but MYSELF. I do not blame my circumstances or problems on anything other than my own choices or even that sometimes in life, we don’t always get what we want. I take responsibility for myself. I am a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend. I am not held back in life but only by the walls I choose to not go over which is a personal choice. Quit blaming. Take responsibility.

If you want to speak, do so. But do not expect for me, a woman, to take you seriously wearing a pink va-jay-jay hat on your head and screaming profanities and bashing men. If you have beliefs, and speak to me in a kind matter, I will listen. But do not expect for me to change my beliefs to suit yours. Respect goes both ways. If you want to impress me, especially in regards to women, then speak on the real injustices and tragedies that affect women in foreign countries that do not that the opportunity or means to have their voices heard.

Saudi Arabia, women can’t drive, no rights and must always be covered. China and India, infanticide of baby girls. Afghanistan, unequal education rights. Democratic Republic of Congo, where rapes are brutal and women are left to die, or HIV infected and left to care for children alone. Mali, where women can not escape the torture of genital mutilation. Pakistan, in tribal areas where women are gang raped to pay for men’s crime. Guatemala, the impoverished female underclass of Guatemala faces domestic violence, rape and the second-highest rate of HIV/AIDS after sub-Saharan Africa. An epidemic of gruesome unsolved murders has left hundreds of women dead, some of their bodies left with hate messages.

And that’s just a few examples. So when women get together in AMERICA and whine they don’t have equal rights and march in their clean clothes, after eating a hearty breakfast,  it’s like a vacation away that they have paid for to get there.

This WOMAN does not support it.

  1. Most people in the world hate white men. Believe white men are the Devil…yet no one seems to point out facts.. no one but white men in America would have rights or votes if it wasn’t for a majority of white men in government voting it in.. yes, there are white men who are corrupt, ignorant, evil etc.. but the majority of white men support everyone as human.. as long as hyphens are used it separates, as long as people hare all white men over things a few did, but were righted by other white men against white men, it’s absurd. With power comes responsibility.. is it truly about power or doing good? Is it about credit or about right & good?

    • oh david buddy,,, we women, we people of color, we queer people wouldn’t need ‘saving’ from white men if white men didn’t put us in the position to be saved in the first place. the reason white men did all this ‘saving’ you speak of is they’re the only ones who could, they’re the only ones who had enough power in society to do so. if people of color, women or other marginalized groups had the opportunity to do it, believe me, they would have. nobody is saying all white men are evil, but you cannot except people who have been wronged for centuries to worship these men for giving us back the rights they took away from us. oh, and you think they did it out of pure goodness of the heart? no, they did it for political or economic reasons. this includes the freeing of the slaves.
and if you since you love facts so much, here’s a couple:
the first computer programmer was a woman, ada lovelace. she’s the reason you can say your bigoted rhetoric on this website. the father of modern computing, alan turing, was a gay man whose life and intelligence was sucked out of him by the men who enforced conversion therapy. think about him when you stand against social issues. and here’s my personal favorite: hedy lamarr invented spread spectrum technology, the origin of wifi. without these two women and a gay man, you wouldn’t even have the opportunity to share your unnecesary bullshit on here!

  2. Thank you so much for this, it’s what I’ve always thought but is not “respectable” to think in our society, thank you so much

  3. I so disagree men are being the rudest people to women, how would you like if a man raped you so I really disagree

    • If you don’t like this website then why did you come here? You either came here to troll or just to look for an argument. It’s like what I say to foreigners who whine about my country, don’t like it? Then just leave! We don’t want moan bags here!

  4. My mother pulled all the hair out of the back of my head at age 5, I didn’t talk for a year. I was kidnapped by two black men and raped at age 14, I was molested by my narcissist step-father from age 4 to 12 years old. I should hate men and women. But, I realized it is not either gender, its the evil we have to deal with in this world. We are all equal and all deserve to be helped and honored for the pain they have experienced. I am here to share this “fall down and that’s an accident, stay down that’s a choice.
